Last Day in Japan

Chris & I spent most of the day together. We didn't have a chance to go to Iwatayama Monkey Park, but we did walk all the way to Osaka Castle - which was a long way away, but it was nice to wander around the Japanese streets & spend time together. When we got to Osaka Castle, we didn't actually go in because it was quite expensive & it was impressive enough on the outside. We watched a Kendo practice, which is a type of Japanese martial art involving long wooden/bamboo sticks, which was quite cool. We came across a time capsule which is set to be opened in 2100, then every 100 years until 6970 (lord only knows if we - the human race - are going to still be around!). The castle was really cool - very pretty & impressive with some amazing views around it - so very 'Japanese' to have an old, traditional castle surrounded by a moat then looking over to the city skyline. After admiring the castle & the views, & feeling sad that it's our last day in this epic country, we headed back to have some food before packing up & checking out. Our last meal had to be stereotypical sushi - sushi that travels around the restaurant on a conveyor belt! It was really tasty, although we didn't really know what we were eating most of the time! There was a menu with pictures & English translation, but to be honest, the plates were going around quite fast so we didn't really have the chance to concentrate on what we wanted! If it looked good, we had it! It was so cheap as well...what would have cost us probably £40 in Yo!Sushi, cost us around £14!
