Christine missed out on things that happened today because she was suffering from a migraine; probably brought on from the long day we had yesterday.

Chris, Matt, Kayla & I headed to Setagaya Station then walked to Cateriam Cat Café. For ¥1000, we had an hour & a drink in the cat café; not too shabby. The cafe is basically a living-room that has a whole bunch of cat toys, trees, boxes, tunnels etc, & a few small tables with cushions on the floor for people to sit on. We ordered our drinks; I had an adzuki latte, which is served cold & really nice.

There were a few black cats, a gorgeous ragdoll called Dolly (who is, in fact, a boy); a mainecoon called Airū, who jumped on Chris's back to get up to a small shelf above the sink (we later learned that she loves water!); a beautiful silver American shorthair called Ben; Tera (who should have been called 'Terror') kept jumping over the gate to the reception area; Dress, a young cat with a short tail & the biggest, widest eyes that just stare at you; a huge, white, fluffy chinchilla called Shiro was a cat that let you put hats on, but his face said it all! And my personal favourite, Ponchi, who is one of those flat-faced, fluffy cats whose eyes look in opposite directions! At first it was just us & a family of three, but it soon got busy. There were two girls I had a giggle with as a black cat (Nero, I think) was sat in a box & they wanted to get a picture so they slowly turned the box around with the cat inside - doesn't sound funny, but it was!

After our hour, we headed to Usagi Café Ohisama (うさぎ Cafe おひさま ), which is a rabbit café! うさぎ! ¥1400 got us an hour with the rabbits & a drink, which was a little more expensive than the cat café but I guess it's because there are a lot more cat cafés. I had a latte then played with the bunnies! There were five rabbits hopping around the large pen that had seats around the outside. All five bunnies were Holland lops & girls; Kinnenkin & Goru (both grey & white), Honda (ginger), Hanren (harlequin), & my favourite, Honako (blue). Honako was quick to learn that head rubs are good & was grinding her teeth with her chin flat to the floor while I laid down beside her. There were others in cages that we were allowed to open & fuss; notably Yukako, a very friendly black lop, & a cute Netherland Dwarf called Maru (まる - which translates to 'circle'!). I loved it & would happily go back. There were other people there & I got chatting to a couple of Japanese girls & told them about my five bunnies, showing pictures of Pancake, Biscuit, Pie, Pumpkin, & Treacle. They kept saying " Kawaii!" (可愛い) which means 'cute'.

We finished the day with dinner at Origin Dining, which is great all-rounder.
