Hyper Japan is the UK's biggest convention of Japanese culture and anime held in London. It's an annual event & celebrates all things Japanese, including food, art, culture, fashion, anime & video games.
As I am going on holiday to Japan with the family soon, I've been learning about the culture, & thought it would be a good experience to attend the Hyper Japan Festival. Kayla joined me. It was a very hot day, but we had lots of fun, starting the day with a good breakfast at Bill's in Kensington, before heading into Olympia for the convention. We watched a cosplay contest, saw lots of exciting foods, so much Pokémon stuff, swords & katanas, dressed in Kimonos, listened to Japanese singers, watched dancers, & bought fans & sweets & bags & clothes & sake, before leaving to finish the day with a meal at Hard Rock Café, but not before stopping off at Kyoto Gardens on the way.
