Chris & I went to Italy with two of our friends, Ellen Knight & Glenn Hilton. There, we spent three nights in Pompei, followed by four nights in Rome. Sites visited include: Herculanium, Pompei ruins, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, St Peters Basilica, Circus Maximus, & Capuchin Crypt. Much ice cream was had, hot weather was enjoyed, & even a proposal happened - yes, Glenn proposed to Ellen in front of the Trevi Fountain!
